why is it so hard for mankind to realize that everything we do as individuals, effects us all as a society?

I spent the last 4 Days at a LifeStream conference. I have done manythings in my life to improve myself. some good, some bad. But this has got to be the most influential awakening that I have ever had so far. I have realized potential that I never thought possible. I have met the most wonderful people and will charish the friendships I have made. Sorry this is short but thats all I have to say..
